Ocupa poco espacio, ya que al cerrarse queda a ras de la pared. Se puede instalar en cualquier posición. Una de las principales características de esta lámpara es que funciona como interruptor: se enciende al instante al extraerla de su posición empotrada y se apaga al retraerla.
El interruptor oculto de esta lámpara plegable no está integrado en el mecanismo de plegado, sino que se encuentra en la base. Basta con apagar la luz y el LED se apagará automáticamente.
